Whether it’s making fun of Meek Mill by posting memes or staging fake phone conversations at Floyd Mayweather’s expense, 50 Cent has become one of Instagram’s most hilarious, incendiary, unrelenting trolls. And it doesn’t seem like anything — not even court — could slow him.
Fif declared bankruptcy back in July, later claiming it was fees from lawsuits that were causing the strain. But he was also quick to make light of the situation online, posting pictures and videos on Instagram where he’s drenched in stacks of money. According to the Wall Street Journal, Curtis was summoned to court last week to account for the posts; his lawyers claimed, in a filing, that he was simply trying to “maintain his brand and image.”
Just days later, on Monday, 50 was back in the business of maintaining — and trolling — posting a photo of himself with mountains of cash in the background. “The KANAN Tape now playing, I’m Too Rich,” he wrote, referencing his recent mixtape and one of the tracks off of it.
Never change, 50
