The Bachelor's Ben Higgins & Lauren Bushnell Make Their First Public Appearance Together as a Couple+they also reveal their wedding plans

She said yes!

When Ben Higgins got down on one knee on Monday's finale of The Bachelor, contestant Lauren Bushnell instantly agreed to marry her "person."

After the show was over, Ben and his new fiancée Lauren made their first official appearance together on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, where they actually almost got married!

While the two politely declined a surprise wedding, they did spill major details about their relationship.

The Bachelor Ben Higgins, 27, finally selected Lauren Bushnell, 25, as his fiancée, we totally want to know if  they will have their wedding be a big televised affair so their many fans can take part in it. The couple has already started discussing the possibility and you’ll be surprised at their response to the idea!

“That’s an opportunity we’d have to look into,” Ben thoughtfully replied when asked by E! News about having their nuptials televised. “We are returning to the stage of life now wherewe can be public as an engaged couple. And now whatever opportunities come up and whatever conversations happen, we’ll listen. If it’s something that seems to be best for us and also for the people who have now watched our love story for the last couple of months then great. If not, we’ll definitely celebrate privately with friends and family still.”

“I would love to set a date and start the planning and start getting excited about that,” Lauren revealed, and Ben even has a timeline in mind for when they want to become husband and wife. “We talked this morning on the plane, I would love to do 2016, early 2017,” he says. “I don’t want to rush is to the point where it’s stressful, but I also don’t want to wait too long.”
