Popular Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has called out comedian, Akpororo for using her name and picture to promote his upcoming show without her prior notice.

The 44-year-old screen goddess took to her social media page to call out the organisers of comedian Akpororo’s show, ”Akpororo Vs Akpororo” for including her name as the host of the event scheduled to hold on the 8th of July, 2016.

The Nollywood actress, who is known to take no nonsense, shared a disclaimer issued by her management clearly stating that she was never approached by the organisers of the show, neither did she give them permission to use her name or image on their publicity materials.

Kate also made it clear that even though she may be a friendly person, she refuses to be taken for granted.

She said, ”There is a thing called RESPECT in this industry. The sooner people recognise this..the better it will be for all. Do not take my smile and simplicity for stupidity! Notice of 48hrs is hereby given to the organisers to remove my name and image from all publicity associated with this event. Thank you.”
